Established in 1987, Italy’s dot IT country-code top-level extension is quite popular both locally and in the English-speaking world. The reason is that the domain is a pronoun, which can be used for building creative and attractive domain names – write.it, youcanmake.it and so on. This is a way to construct an easy-to-memorize domain name, so that it will be easier for your visitors to go back to your website or to give it with colleagues and acquaintances. The TLD can also be used for a website, which is linked to the information technology sector considering the fact that IT is an abbreviation, which is accepted worldwide.

In view of the fact that dot IT domains are not provided directly by IT-NIC, the Registry organization that administrates this top-level domain extension, such a domain can be secured through a third-party domain registration provider, such as ours.
